Basic Empowerment

Basic empowerment can be done on objects such as stones, herbs, crystals, and tools.

You must cast a circle or at least have all four elements represented and placed around you while empowering something.

When it mentions "open chakras" that is a form of meditation. Please refer to the meditation notebook to learn more about opening your chakras. When empowering herbs, tools, and talismans we work towards opening our chakras during meditation. Your chakras do not have to be open whenever you empower something, that isn’t realistic, but while you are empowering your objects make sure to include a 20+ minute chakra meditation.

Magic circle and sacred circle are synonymous.
Examples to help you empower your tools:
Candle empowerment: Hold the new candle in your hands and get to know the candle. Feel it’s energy and channel your energy into the candle. Focus on the colors and shape of the candle. Meditate on the meaning behind the color and symbology of the candle. Cast a circle with the candle on your altar. Carve symbols into the candle that represent the meaning behind it’s colors and shape. Meditate with the candle and work on cleansing and opening your chakras. Focus on the elements, and what element this candle represents. Say any incantations that help channel your energy and manifest your intention. Close the corners and open up your circle, your candle is now empowered and filled with energy. It is ready to be used for ritual work.
Wand empowerment: It’s always best to find your wand out in nature. Find a large stick and take it home. Clean it, carve it, and make it into your personal wand, filled with your energy and energy from nature. You are always welcome to buy your wand from a store as well. Just make sure it’s wand that you connect with. You should be able to feel it calling to you. Your energies should naturally intertwine. Attach empowered stones and crystals to your wand. Carve symbols that reflect your energy into the wand. Sleep with your wand. Paint it, attach runes to it, carve numerology into it and make it your own. Cast a circle and put your wand on the altar in the middle of the circle. Meditate with your wand and take its energy into you. Channel your own energy into the wand. Open and cleanse your chakras, and meditate on the elements, thinking about which elements your want represents. Say any incantations that help channel your energy and manifest your intention. Close the corners and open your circle. Now you have an empowered wand that is ready to be used for ritual work.
