She emanates empathy in a way the King cannot, and sees all the emotional paths laid out before her to help guide you along the one that works best for you. The knight tends to be very self conscious and aware of their actions, choosing how to act very carefully, mimicking the behavior of others. When right side up the knight isn’t doing any of this with ill intent. They are only behaving this way due to their own insecurities. Most people have been a right side up knight at one point in their life. When the knight is displayed upside down they become slightly threatening. Their actions are meant to hurt you and manipulate you. Their mask is meant to exploit you, and they aren’t trustworthy.

When the knight of cups is right side up, they tend to put aside their own emotions, valuing the happiness of others more than their own. They feel insecure and misunderstood when it comes to their own emotions, and they tend to hate the way that they emotionally deal with situations in life. They tend to mask their insecurities very well and their advise can be tainted, because of its disingenuous nature. When upside down the knight is masking their emotions with malicious intent. They manipulate you using their emotions and feed off of your sympathy. They are lying and creating a false sense of trust using emotional manipulation.
